My Incredible Journey for 2017

The complete master key system
$12.00 Amazon.com

So this is the beginning of the New Year and I am on a quest to become the best that I can be.   Finding a place to begin was the hardest part of my incredible journey for 2017.  I began with The Complete Master Key System.  I studied it last year and decided this year I would deliberately concentrate on the lessons learned.

I heard about The Complete Mast Key System through conversations on the web and quickly purchased it from Amazon.com.

The information is not new.  The author, Charles Haanel, lived from 1866 to 1949 and is known as the Father of Self Development according to http://www.haanel.com/biography.

An interesting fact noted in the first part of the book is that it is “rumored that Bill Gates was inspired to drop out of the University and pursue his dream of “a computer on every desktop.”  Although this may not be a fact, it was interesting to read.

The introduction states the System teaches “principles, causes, effects and laws that underlie all attainment and success.”  The book explains and instructs the student how to train the subconscious mind to find success, wealth, and happiness thus developing problem-solving solutions and creativity.

Each week I was given a new lesson, through an introduction, outline, study guide and answers. I kept pretty close to the schedule and the course completed in 6 months, and two weeks (28 weeks).    The training gave me a new perspective on coping with anxiety and other negative influences in my life.

It is important to have an open mind when studying because the lessons provides an understanding of the  connection between the mind body and soul.

As the Father of self-development, Charles Haanel, encourages the reader to meditate, explore, and define the meaning of their being. He teaches a means to  have a positive outlook on life.
**
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about self-development, problem-solving skills and just making their life more productive.  I know it helped me those areas.  As I continue processing the information gleaned from the book, I am excited to experience the outcome.

Loneliness is a State of Mind

It's interesting how some people are lonely while surrounded by people - not just people but people who care. They still feel isolated and alone. Others can live alone, knowing few others and yet never feel the pang of loneliness. So it doesn't actually hinge on the absence or presence of others. It's an emotion but it can also be an attitude.
